Most companies with distributed operations have an IT Department to manage data requirements. When you need to make changes remotely, you define the requirements for function, software, and equipment. Equipment delivery to the remote sites occurs, and software is delivered online or using other methods. Then the functional requirements usually become more difficult, and unforeseen circumstances frequently require on-site expertise.

In many cases, additional data cabling and patch panels are needed. Once those are in place, the remote personnel may not be able load, configure, and operate the system, even with support from IT at the home location. Our experienced technicians provide these services.
In some cases, the remote location needs some 110AC voltage or other special facilities installed. Again, Execom can provide that service without any management time from the home IT Department.
Execom handled a recent customer request that included data work in 41 locations: we started by capturing the IT Department’s objectives and specific requirements. Then, Execom contacted each of the managers in the remote locations. The discrepancies between the IT Department and the remote manager’s assessed needs were resolved. It was a sizable job. The total number of data drops was over 200. Some locations required trenching and other special installation capabilities, and a number of the locations required the addition of 110AC power at the PC location. Email and voice coordination between Execom, the distributed site, and the corporate IT manager allowed all these changes to occur effectively, correctly, and on time.
